Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform circulation tasks: charging, discharging, renewing and routing library materials.
• Empty book drops and automated handling carts.
• Register patrons for library cards and assist with locating materials.
• Answer phones and communicate by email; provide ready reference help.
• Operate cash register and handle cash/credit card transactions; prepare deposits.
• Assist with library programs, supplies, and volunteer tasks.
• Maintain courteous, collaborative relations with coworkers and the public.
