Job summary

Safety National in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Liability Claims Manager to own claims from assignment to closure, evaluating coverage and exposure to develop cost-effective resolutions while ensuring compliance.

You will supervise TPAs, coordinate with internal partners across liability lines (Auto, General, Employers, Cyber, Umbrella, Construction), and contribute to a data-driven view of claims trends in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience handling complex liability claims across multiple liability lines.
• Strong knowledge of litigation processes, mediation, settlements and trials.
• Ability to analyze coverage issues and draft reservation of rights and letters.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned claims from initial assignment through closure.
• Evaluate coverage, determine exposure, and develop resolution strategies.
• Proactively manage litigation and oversee TPAs; communicate exposures to partners.
• Support cost-effective resolutions while complying with policies and best practices.
