Job summary

Swagelok in Northeast Ohio is seeking a Level III Machine Operator for its manufacturing team. You will produce fluid-system components, troubleshoot and changeover machines, and maintain high safety and quality standards in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.

You’ll work on various machines, use precision measuring tools, and participate in continuous improvement while earning comprehensive benefits. Overtime may be available to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 30 months of machining or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with machine setup, blueprint reading, and basic programming.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow Swagelok’s production system and participate in shift start-up meetings.
• Operate and changeover equipment according to standard work and schedules.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools and maintain quality.
• Monitor outputs, adjust tooling and machine settings to sustain quality and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve machining, tooling, and process issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance and maintain records.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, or safety.
• Train and mentor less experienced operators.
