Job summary

Texas Regional Bank seeks a Relationship Manager to grow profitable lending relationships under Market President supervision. You will cultivate high-value prospects, determine loan requirements and coordinate with underwriting to close loans efficiently.

Responsibilities include managing credit portfolios, monitoring quality and risk, and ensuring timely loan closings while maintaining strong client communications and adherence to bank policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of solid experience in new business development, deal structuring, underwriting and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies identifying and prioritizing high value relationships.
• Interview potential clients, determine loan requirements and facilitate sale of bank products.
• Manage credit portfolio and maintain close customer contact.
• Coordinate with other departments on client meetings and community events.
• Monitor credit quality and data integrity.
• Manage loan portfolio including collateral review, covenants and delinquencies.
• Assist in loan applications and coordinate with underwriting for timely closings.
• Maintain communication with underwriting to meet client needs and deadlines.
• Ensure loans close timely and meet regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to bank credit policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
