Job summary

Texas National Bank is seeking a Retail Loan Officer to grow profitable retail lending relationships under the supervision of lending officers. You will manage a loan portfolio, ensure timely closings, and drive new loan and deposit relationships while maintaining credit quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
• Five to ten years of banking experience, minimum three years of management, new business development, underwriting, and portfolio management.
• Computer literate with MS Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word, Internet and bank-specific software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to identify high-value relationships through referrals and cold calling.
• Interview potential clients, determine loan requirements, and present suitable bank products.
• Collaborate with other departments on sales calls, joint client meetings, and community events.
