Job summary

Texas Regional Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager in Austin, TX to grow profitable lending relationships. This role reports to the Market President and focuses on achieving lending and deposit growth, client engagement, and coordinating with underwriting to ensure timely loan closings.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in related banking roles, solid analytical and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of solid experience in new business development, deal structuring, underwriting and portfolio management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to identify and acquire high value relationships.
• Interview potential clients to determine loan requirements and facilitate sale of Bank products.
• Manage credit portfolio and maintain close customer contact.
• Coordinate with other departments for client meetings and community events.
• Monitor credit quality and data integrity.
• Manage a portfolio of loans and credit lines, including reviewing collateral and loan covenants.
• Assist with loan application process and liaise with underwriting to close loans promptly.
• Maintain ongoing communication with underwriting and clients to ensure timely loan closings.
