Job summary

Bank of the Orient invites applications for a Senior Lending Officer who will lead the Commercial Banking department's lending activities, including commercial, mortgage, SBA loans, and related services. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance required or similar; advanced degree/certification preferred.
• 7–8 years in commercial, real estate, consumer lending, SBA loan with sales/marketing experience.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory environment and lending practices in domestic/international banking.

Responsibilities

• Ensure loan decisions are based on customer's financial needs and comply with laws and bank policy.
• Administer credit worthiness and documentation for loans and borrowing relationships.
• Sourcing, securing, developing, and retaining profitable banking relationships.
• Find new business opportunities to sell the Bank’s products and services.
• Contribute to credit portfolio quality and process credit extensions with proper structuring and pricing.
• Grow current relationships by presenting lending opportunities and cross-selling to existing clients.
