Guaranty Bank & Trust in Mt Pleasant, TX seeks a Senior Lending Assistant to support and coach a lending team, covering secretarial duties and loan function responsibilities in the absence of the Market President.

Qualifications include 2+ years in customer service, 3+ years in loan administration across commercial, real estate, and consumer loans, and 2+ years in management (preferred). Strong MS Office skills required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience.
• Minimum 3 years loan administrative experience in commercial, real estate and consumer loans.
• Minimum 2 years management experience; preferred not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Bank in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide support and coaching to other lending assistants and employees.
• Process loan applications, obtain credit reports, and handle denials per regulations.
• Prepare memos, letters, and reports with accuracy.
• Greet customers and assist with routine problems.
• Manage loan payments and deposits; handle calls and mail.
