Job summary

Happen Bank is seeking a Sr Compliance Advisory Manager – Lending to oversee compliance advisory for Personal Lending products. You will identify, assess, and manage regulatory risk across the product lifecycle, collaborating with business and risk leaders to strengthen policies and controls.

The role emphasizes ensuring regulatory compliance amid evolving products and regulations, with a focus on lending practices and consumer protection.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in banking or financial services, primarily within compliance.
• Experience with consumer credit lending regulations (ECOA, UDAAP, TILA, FCRA, MLA/SCRA, TCPA, GLBA, EFTA, ESIGN).
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, dynamic environments with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess regulatory risks and controls across lending products and develop mitigations.
• Partner with senior management on risk assessments, regulatory change, monitoring, testing, and issues management.
• Develop and maintain lending compliance policies, standards, and procedures and translate them into actionable controls.
• Provide lending compliance guidance to business partners to operationalize requirements.
• Collaborate on training across regulatory requirements and risk management.
