Job summary

Anthropic in San Francisco seeks a Senior+ Software Engineer for its Legal Tech team to build secure cloud infrastructure, data processing, and storage capabilities at scale. You will own end-to-end scope, from requirements to production systems that meet legal invariants and enable new capabilities.

You will translate legal and privacy needs into robust designs, collaborating with Privacy, Security, Research, Infra, and Legal to ship the right capabilities on tight timelines.

Qualifications

Experience designing, building, and operating trusted infrastructure and data systems.
Ability to own architectural decisions across a multi-team environment.
Translate legal/privacy requirements into technical designs.

Responsibilities

Build and operate cloud infrastructure, storage, and data pipelines.
Design architectures with security, privacy, reliability, scalability, and auditability in mind.
Partner with internal customer teams to translate requirements into sound approaches and realistic ETAs.
Deliver against fixed deadlines and support complex legal requests on controlled infrastructure.
