GC AI is seeking an exceptional AI Engineer to lead the development of our cutting-edge AI platform for the legal domain. You will be the technical cornerstone of our AI initiatives, working with our CTO and founding data engineer to architect systems that push the boundaries of LLMs in legal work.

You will shape the platform, design production AI systems at scale, mentor engineers, and collaborate on strategy with senior leadership in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years building AI systems.
• Deep expertise in LLM implementation and optimization.
• Proven experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive AI/LLM infrastructure from conception to production.
• Design AI systems for complex legal reasoning and document analysis.
• Lead evaluation and integration of LLM capabilities.
• Establish best practices for AI development and reliability.
• Build prototyping frameworks for AI features.
• Mentor growing team of AI engineers.
• Shape technical strategy and roadmap with senior leadership.
