Job summary

Goodwin Procter Boston is seeking a Senior Manager, Legal Project Management to partner with partners and fee earners across practice groups, driving matter delivery, pricing discipline, and client transparency. You will work with the Head of LPM and Client Value & Pricing to embed LPM into how Goodwin delivers work.

You will lead end-to-end LPM on complex matters, develop real-time dashboards, and champion AI and data-driven process improvements to optimize scoping, budgeting, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in legal project management, legal operations, or related role.
• Experience embedding LPM in nascent environments.
• Exposure to design thinking, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma.
• Involvement in training, coaching or change management initiatives.
• PM/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end LPM support on complex, high-value matters within scope, on budget, and on time.
• Ensure lessons learned are captured and applied to future matters.
• Drive negotiations on scope changes, budget risk and profitability.
• Build direct client relationships and develop real-time dashboards for transparency.
• Mentor junior team members as the function grows.
