Job summary

Goodwin’s Global Operations Team seeks a Senior Manager, Legal Project Management to partner with partners and fee earners across practice groups. Drive matter delivery, commercial discipline, and client transparency while embedding LPM into the firm’s delivery model.

You will lead end-to-end LPM support for high-value matters, develop budgets and resource trackers, and foster innovation through AI and data tools. Strong PM credentials and stakeholder influence are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in legal project management, legal operations, or related role in a law firm/in-house/professional services.
• Experience embedding LPM in nascent environments with partners not previously using LPM.
• Exposure to design thinking, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Involvement in training, coaching, or change management initiatives.
• PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end LPM support on complex, high-value matters within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Embed LPM into practice across practice groups and sectors.
• Develop matter plans, budgets, and resource trackers for real-time visibility.
• Build client-facing dashboards and value reports for transparency and risk management.
• Champion AI, automation, and data tools for matter planning and forecasting.
