Job summary

Legora seeks a Lead Legal Engineer in New York to lead high-impact client engagements while mentoring a team of Legal Engineers. You will fuse deep legal knowledge, product sense, and people leadership to drive adoption and deliver measurable outcomes for clients and the practice.

You will navigate complex stakeholders, run executive demos, and influence Product, Go-to-Market, and Customer Success to shape scalable onboarding, while representing the voice of the customer to drive product

Qualifications

• Background in law with experience at a top-tier firm, in-house legal team, or legal tech environment.
• Direct people management experience in a client-facing or delivery environment.
• Experience delivering complex client implementations or programmes with multiple stakeholders.
• Product-savvy and tech-curious with a strong grasp of generative AI and legal workflows.

Responsibilities

• Leading enterprise-level pilots and implementations across multiple stakeholders and products, from discovery through go-live, with clear success metrics.
• Owning priority client use cases end-to-end, shaping scalable onboarding and implementation frameworks.
• Acting as a senior thought partner to clients, building trusted relationships with partners, legal ops, and innovation leaders.
• Delivering executive-level demos, workshops, and presentations, clearly articulating value and handling complex objections.
• Influencing internal teams on implementation strategy, setup, and handover.
• Representing the voice of the customer, surfacing product gaps with evidence and driving them through to resolution.
• Building and refining team processes, systems, and operating rhythms that scale delivery quality and team effectiveness.
