Position Overview:

The primary focus of the Senior Legal Counsel will be on Commercial Transactions and Data Privacy. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in legal advisory work and excel in handling matters related to contracts, corporate governance, joint ventures, and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Drafts, analyzes, and negotiates legal agreements, ensuring the company’s interests are well-represented in various legal contexts, including disputes and business transactions.
• Brings in-depth expertise in contract law, corporate structure, joint ventures, and partnership arrangements.
• Offers legal counsel and strategic advice to management at various levels (Corporate, Regional, or Local) to support organizational planning and policy development.
• Monitors evolving legal and regulatory trends, reviews relevant legal publications and legislation, and advises leadership on potential impacts to the business.
• Assesses legal risks tied to operations, business relationships, or regulatory environments, and recommends appropriate legal and business responses.

An ideal Candidate would have:

• 4+ years experience in a Commercial department of a law firm or in-house.
• Exposure and understanding of Data Privacy law.
• Exposure to the energy sector.
