Senior Counsel – Midstream (Transactions, Projects & Procurement)

Client: Fortune 50 International Energy Company

Our client, a publicly traded global leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Senior Counsel – Midstream to join its established legal department. Reporting to the Managing Counsel, this attorney will support the Midstream business unit on complex transactional, project, and procurement matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise midstream and corporate leadership on legal risks and regulatory compliance.
• Structure, negotiate, and draft commercial agreements related to transportation, gathering, processing, terminalling, and related midstream operations.
• Provide legal support for major midstream transactions and regulated assets.
• Oversee legal aspects of midstream joint ventures, including formation, governance, and operations.
• Manage outside counsel and support policy development to address evolving legal and regulatory risks.

Ideal Candidate:

A strategic and business-oriented attorney with deep experience in midstream energy transactions, within a large corporate or law firm environment with 8 or more years of experience.
