Jobot is seeking an experienced Legal Biller for a fully remote, direct-hire role. The position focuses on accurate billing management using Aderant, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in legal billing, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and strong analytical and communication skills. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits with remote work across time zones.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a legal billing role, preferably at a law firm.
• Proficient with Aderant or similar legal billing systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and detail-oriented abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage full cycle of client billing from invoicing to collections.
• Coordinate with attorneys and staff to resolve billing inquiries and explain items.
• Use Aderant to input data, track hours, generate reports, and maintain records.
• Work with finance to optimize billing procedures and accuracy.
• Monitor balances and coordinate with collections for past due accounts.
• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines.
• Support audits with billing documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and efficiency.
