BitGo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build the ledger systems behind client balances, trading positions, and financial reporting. You will design double-entry ledger primitives and ensure financial correctness from day one in a live fintech platform.

You will own the chart-of-accounts, reconcile across on-chain data and off-chain books, and collaborate with Finance, Data Engineering, and Product to model ownership and reporting for new financial products such as margin, lending, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering with data-model design where correctness is the product.
• Real-world knowledge of accounting fundamentals: double-entry bookkeeping, chart-of-accounts, financial statements.
• Ability to design extensible schemas and APIs that scale with new requirements.
• Strong cross-functional communication with Finance, Data Eng, and Product.

Responsabilités

• Design and extend core ledger with accounts, postings, and ledger structures.
• Own chart-of-accounts and reporting surfaces.
• Work on on-chain vs off-chain balance verification and reconciliation.
• Collaborate early with engineering to model ownership, ledger placement, pricing.
