Global Settlement in Miami seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own the ledger of its institutional blockchain payments network, managing balances, state correctness, and reconciliation between on-chain state and bank records for stablecoins, CBDC, and tokenized-asset settlement.

Design the ledger model and invariants, implement cross-system reconciliation with banking partners, and ensure correctness under concurrency and reorgs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering on production systems.
• Deep database and consistency-model knowledge.
• Experience with double-entry or core-banking ledger.
• Production Rust or Go development.
• Understanding blockchain state, finality, and reorgs.
• Startup work ethic and self-driven.
• Plus: chain/ledger protocol experience (Ethereum/Cosmos/etc.).
• CBDC or tokenized-deposit systems knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Design the ledger model and invariants.
• Build reconciliation between on-chain state and counterparty records.
• Ensure balance correctness under concurrency and reorgs.
• Develop audit and compliance reporting surfaces.
• Own the data model and consistency guarantees across product suite.
• Collaborate with settlement and banking engineers to align ledger with fiat rails.
• Hands-on coding ~80% of time; 10% strategy; 10% documentation.
