BitGo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and evolve the ledger systems behind client balances, trading positions, and financial reporting. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and accounting, crafting double-entry ledger primitives and ensuring financial correctness from day one.

You will own the chart of accounts, balances, postings, and the reporting surface, collaborating with Finance, Data Engineering, and Product to model ownership and reconcile on-chain

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering with data-model ownership.
• Strong knowledge of double-entry accounting and financial statements.
• Ability to critique designs and communicate across Finance, Data Eng, and Product.

Responsabilités

• Design and extend the core ledger — accounts, postings, and ledger structures.
• Own the chart-of-accounts and financial reporting surface.
• Work across on-chain data and off-chain books: balance verification and reconciliation.
• Partner with engineering early in design to model ownership, ledger placement, and pricing.
• Design data models to absorb new financial products with minimal migrations.
