Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) seeks an HR Operations Specialist focused on Leave, Compliance and Immigration matters.

You will independently manage employee leave cases, coordinate with managers, payroll, benefits, and external partners, and maintain confidential records to support compliant, timely decisions. The ideal candidate brings 4–8 years of HR experience, strong case management, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–8 years progressive HR experience including leave, accommodations, workers’ comp, immigration.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and related requirements.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information.
• Strong case management, organization, and deadline management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/case-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer leaves of absence including FMLA and other programs.
• Manage leave cases from notice to return to work with timely communication and documentation.
• Track leave usage, certifications, extensions, and deadlines.
• Coordinate accommodations and return-to-work processes with stakeholders.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and liaise with carriers and third parties.
• Maintain confidential records and support compliance initiatives.
