Job summary

Stockell Consulting is seeking a Senior Leave Case Manager to own an assigned caseload from intake through return to work, determining eligibility and guiding employees through the process. The population is primarily U.S.-based with occasional Canadian cases, and the role is remote.

This specialist seat focuses on end-to-end leave management, requiring in-depth knowledge of FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, and state leave laws.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leave of absence administration.
• Direct leave case management experience—own cases end-to-end.
• Experience working in a leave management system.
• Experience managing complex leave and disability cases.
• In-depth knowledge of FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, state leave laws.
• Experience communicating with employees about sensitive leave matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of leave-of-absence cases through full lifecycle.
• Determine eligibility across parental, military, caregiver, disability, and medical leaves.
• Communicate with employees by email and phone.
• Track, collect, and review required documentation.
• Coordinate leave approvals and return-to-work timelines.
• Partner with third-party leave and disability administrators.
• Resolve complex issues and escalations as needed.
• Maintain and report on leave and disability data.
