Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a Senior Lease Auditor for a remote role across multiple U.S. locations. You will perform pre-audit reviews of operating expenses, CAM, and other charges, interpret lease provisions, and coordinate with landlords to obtain necessary documentation.

You will analyze ledgers, tax bills, insurance, and utility invoices, preparing clear summaries of findings and supporting charge recoveries. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, real estate, or similar field preferred.
• Experience with commercial real estate databases and lease management software helpful.
• Ability to interpret complex lease provisions and related charges.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-audit reviews of annual expense reconciliations (CAM, operating expenses, insurance, taxes).
• Interpret landlord lease provisions and apply concepts like Proportionate Share, Base Years, CAPs.
• Communicate with landlords to obtain backup documentation and resolve disputes.
• Review General Ledgers, tax bills, insurance, and utility invoices for accuracy.
• Prepare final findings summaries and support billing accordingly.
