Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to partner across enterprise learning platforms, integrations, and data. You translate business needs into scalable technology and governance-aligned solutions, delivering accurate, compliant results.

You will lead backlog refinement, plan releases, and work with senior leaders on complex process improvements, data integrity reviews, and cross-functional testing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information systems or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with Workday Learning and HRIS processes preferred.
• Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent learning stakeholders' business and operational needs in discovery, backlog refinement, and solution design.
• Use data, feedback, and analyses to identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
• Lead cross-functional projects and automation initiatives for learning platforms.
• Document defects, assess impact, support prioritization, and verify resolutions.
• Support integrations affecting learning platforms and processes.
• Serve as escalation resource for complex learning platform issues.
• Analyze learning and worker data to identify trends and quality concerns.
• Lead testing strategy, user stories, and feedback with senior leaders.
