Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Findlay, Ohio is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to partner with Middle Office leadership and act as the primary liaison between Middle Office stakeholders and Digital teams.

You will elicit and prioritize requirements for Risk, Performance Measurement, Data and Reporting, translate them into actionable capabilities, and drive continuous improvement across Commercial, Finance, and Governance functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Four (4) years of relevant experience
• Experience partnering with Product Managers, Product Owners, Agile delivery teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience supporting Commercial, Energy Trading, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain functions.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, and enterprise reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Middle Office stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements supporting Risk, Performance Measurement, Data, and Reporting capabilities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Middle Office and Digital teams to ensure business priorities and requirements are effectively communicated and understood.
• Facilitate business process reviews, requirements workshops, and stakeholder discussions to support continuous improvement and delivery of business capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Partners, and Digital teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
• Support business process documentation, workflow analysis, and identification of process improvement opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders to document business rules, data requirements, and reporting needs that support data governance and data quality initiatives.
• Participate in testing, business readiness, and adoption activities for system enhancements and new capabilities.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships across Middle Office, Commercial, Finance, Accounting, and Digital organizations.
