Job summary

Memorial Hermann seeks a Senior Training & Instructional Design Specialist to design, develop and deliver education and training programs across the health system, serving enterprise-wide audiences. You will partner with leaders and SMEs to build competencies that improve performance and support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education in related field (OD, industrial psychology, education, communications, HR management) or similar.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in developing, coordinating and delivering employee development programs.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills to convey complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct needs analysis and identify training opportunities.
• Work with SMEs and leaders to establish objectives and develop content.
• Design programs in instructor-led, online, or hybrid formats using best practices.
• Develop engaging learning experiences with visual design and multimedia.
• Review and update curriculum and create supporting resources (job aids, guides, online resources).
• Conduct formative and summative evaluation and implement improvements.
