Tim Slade Omnimedia, LLC is seeking a seasoned learning designer to transform dense clinical content into practical training for a medical provider serving seniors. You will shape the design, not just development, and collaborate with SMEs to ensure learners can apply what they are taught.
This full-time remote role includes occasional travel to the Miami office or other regional clinics (2–3 times per year) and EST-hour alignment.
Hi everyone! I’m hiring a seasoned learning designer for a medical provider that supports seniors - someone who knows their way around authoring and design tools, sure, but really someone who can:
Take dense clinical or operational bullet points and work that into valuable training content
Influence SMEs that just because you lecture it, doesn’t mean the learners retain it
Knows learning DESIGN, not just development - working away from information dumps and towards “What does the user need to DO with this information, and how can I help them practice it?”
Notes: Please disregard the Adobe suite requirement, our tech stack has changed and we’re not as reliant upon those I’m also working with my recruiter to update the listed salary range - the midpoint is actually the higher end of what’s currently listed. I adore k12 teaching experience but I’d be looking for additional years experience with learning design in a business setting. This is full time remote with occasional travel to our Miami office or other regions where our clinics are located (2-3 times a year total). You’d just need to be able to work typical EST hours.
