Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking a learning solutions professional to partner with HR, leadership, and business units to assess needs and design, develop, deliver, implement, and evaluate learning experiences.

You will apply ADDIE and adult-learning principles, develop instructor-led, virtual, and web-based modules, and support LMS governance, reporting, and analytics to drive organizational effectiveness. You'll maintain learning platforms (SharePoint) and ensure accessibility, captioning, and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ADDIE model, instructional design methodologies, and adult learning principles.
• Experience delivering instructor-led, virtual, blended, and web-based learning solutions.
• Experience using training technologies including eLearning authoring tools and video production.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR, leadership, and business units to analyze needs and design learning solutions.
• Design and develop instructional materials including lesson plans, facilitator guides, and assessments.
• Apply instructional design best practices to create engaging, measurable learning experiences.
• Support LMS administration activities: course setup, testing, assignments, tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate training logistics, facilities, scheduling, and attendance tracking.
• Conduct QA reviews of learning materials and keep SharePoint and LMS resources current.
• Analyze LMS data and learner feedback to evaluate effectiveness and inform improvements.
• Support LMS governance and enterprise learning projects.
