Job summary

Northern Natural Gas seeks a Learning and Development Specialist to drive employee development initiatives that support workforce planning and performance improvement. You will partner with managers to implement programs, deliver leadership and staff trainings, and enhance learning resources across the organization.

Responsibilities include designing blended learning, evaluating training effectiveness, and acting as an internal consultant to address training-related issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in organization development, adult learning, human resources, education or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Three years of experience in curriculum and instructional design.
• Five years of experience in curriculum and instructional design for Sr role.

Responsibilities

• Assess, design, implement and evaluate employee and leadership development programs.
• Research and analyze training information to determine content, audience and objectives.
• Design, develop and facilitate in-person and virtual training workshops and e-learning solutions.
• Act as internal consultant to clarify training-related issues and provide guidance to managers.
• Coordinate development strategies including mentoring and leadership development.
• Travel to offices across the network to facilitate in-person training (up to 25%).
