Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Senior Learning Design Professional with strong adult learning expertise to support the Provider Contact Center.

You will apply instructional design, cognitive psychology, and adult learning theory to determine the best learning solution for new processes or knowledge gaps. You will design solutions for both new hires and existing associates, conduct needs analyses, and develop engaging learning experiences across instructor-led, eLearning, and blended formats.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of learning design experience with adult learners.
• 3+ years of experience developing curriculum content, eLearning programs and virtual learning solutions
• 2+ years of working experience and technical skills in Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise)
• Progressive business experience with a focus on eLearning strategies and adult learning theories
• Excellent writing, grammatical and verbal communication skills
• Strong emotional intelligence and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning solutions for both new hires and existing associates to support role-based organizational needs
• Conduct needs analysis and develop learning solutions to meet audience needs
• Create meaningful, memorable learning experiences using instructional design
• Write learning objectives and assessments to measure training effectiveness
• Select and sequence learning activities and delivery media
• Develop storyboards, instructor-led content, and eLearning
• Create quality solutions that are engaging and accurate
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders
• Prepare facilitator materials and support effective delivery
• Provide guidance to facilitators and Train the Trainer sessions
• Maintain curriculum content and timelines
• Communicate progress and address feedback
• Adhere to design and quality standards and deadlines
