Job summary

Nemak seeks a seasoned Lean transformation leader to drive the implementation of a shop floor management model across Nemak America Plants. You will co-design and co-implement the model with the consulting team and plant management, aligning people, processes and technology.

You will lead diagnostics, deploy workshops, manage design and installation projects, and report progress, risks, and adoption to the Lean & shop floor management and operations managers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ related experience in Lean Manufacturing and Transformation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required)
• Experience in Manufacturing and Operations
• Availability to travel to other plants when required

Responsibilities

• Design shop floor management diagnosis with plant members
• Deploy workshops to co-design each of the 5 shop floor management elements with plant management
• Implement solutions for each of the 5 shop floor management elements
• Ensure timely execution of projects related to shop floor management
• Report to Lean & shop floor management manager and operations manager on project status, gaps, and incidents
• Execute design process and installation projects per established methodologies
• Lead change management initiatives to increase adoption among team members
