Job summary

Nefab seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer in Braselton, GA to drive Lean transformations across Southeast sites. You will lead Kaizen events, deliver leadership training, and coach teams to implement 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and SMED on the plant floor.

In this role you will mentor Lean champions, share best practices, track results, and influence site leaders to sustain improvements and organizational change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• At least three years of experience implementing Lean practices in manufacturing.
• Experience facilitating Lean training, Kaizen workshops, and change management initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, TPM and related Lean methods.
• Coaching and facilitation skills with ability to engage employees and leaders at different levels.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• High proficiency in English. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Availability to work from Braselton, GA, and provide on-site support to Southeast facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and Gemba walks to identify waste and improve manufacturing processes.
• Deliver Lean leadership training to strengthen local management capability.
• Train employees at all levels in methods such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and SMED.
• Coach cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement projects.
• Guide teams through change, building participation and ownership of new ways of working.
• Provide hands-on support on the manufacturing floor and mentor local Lean champions.
• Standardize successful improvements and share best practices across regional sites.
• Track and communicate results to demonstrate impact and sustain progress.
• Build strong relationships with site leaders, production teams, and other stakeholders.
