Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to lead day-to-day workflows in Production Departments. This role is a culture-carrier, driving Lean initiatives and standardizing processes with a continuous improvement mindset.

You will lead and coach Associates, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality products efficiently while supporting customers. The ideal leader demonstrates strong communication, organizational and operations prowess in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management / related field.
• 5+ years machining/manufacturing experience (low volume/high mix).
• 5+ years of people management and leadership experience.
• Lean Six Sigma credentials and practical application experience.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and transitioning to others.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach and performance manage associates to high standards.
• Manage production goals to ensure quality, on-time delivery and cross-department collaboration.
• Develop, justify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives in safety, quality, delivery, productivity and capacity.
• Implement metrics, cost control and cost reduction initiatives.
• Optimize processes for consistent quality and productivity; revise procedures as needed.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturing standards and OSHA compliance and maintain SOPs.
• Act as a change champion and adapt procedures as needed across Solve.
