Qualifications

• MSW, BSSW, or a degree in School Counseling is required.
• Experience working in school-based or school-aligned settings is required.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Proven success supporting students with academic, social, and emotional challenges.
• Strong understanding of child development, behavior, and trauma-informed practice.
• Knowledge of mental health referral pathways and the ability to coordinate services across providers.
• Strong technology and data management skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Salesforce, and database systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a multi-site portfolio in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality, equity, and continuous professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of all mental health, SEL, and leadership supports across every site in the assigned borough portfolio.
• Directly supervise, coach, and evaluate the Jr. Leadership & SEL Coaches assigned to the portfolio, ensuring each coach is supported.
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex student, family, or site-level concerns within the portfolio.
