Job summary

JLL in Tampa is seeking a Senior General Manager to oversee white-glove operations for a new mixed-use development, including Class A office and luxury retail. You will lead a diverse team, manage budgets, drive tenant satisfaction, and ensure alignment with JLL standards from ground‑up to grand opening.

The role requires strategic oversight, strong communication with owners and tenants, and a track record in managing complex property deployments in fast‑paced markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of commercial real estate or property management experience.
• Experience with ground-up development Class A commercial properties.
• Three to four years of experience managing a team of three or more people.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills.
• Strong financial and accounting acumen with budgeting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets with financial reporting.
• Execute business plans to maximize tenant satisfaction and profitability.
• Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
• Build and lead a high-performing team across office, retail, hotel, parking, entertainment, and placemaking.
• Deliver strategic guidance and oversee operations including tenant/guest satisfaction and client relationships.
• Implement tenant retention programs and keep tenants informed of property activities.
• Oversee competitive bidding for service contracts and act as primary contact for vendors.
