Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer in Windows Server Engineering to drive automation across physical, virtual, and container environments. The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, secure coding practices, and governance of enterprise tooling within CIP.

The ideal candidate brings advanced distributed systems expertise on Windows Server platforms, strong programming skills (C#, .NET, Ansible, PowerShell, Python), and a track record of leading large-scale infrastructure

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 10+ years of experience.
• Advanced knowledge of distributed systems running Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server.
• Experience in networking, databases, storage, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
• Proficient in C#, .NET, Ansible, PowerShell, Python.
• Experience integrating with heterogeneous environments and automating test harnesses.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
• Cloud knowledge across public and private clouds.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy automated pipeline for Windows Server infrastructure across environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Develop automation for creating and deploying images for physical and virtual machines.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects.
• Apply deep technical expertise to analyze data, anticipate issues and mitigate risk.
• Architect and implement changes to modernize the technology processes.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering practices with measurable validation standards.
• Leverage SDLC tools and AI-assisted development capabilities to improve automation.
• Drive multiple complex programs.
