Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Windows Server Engineering within the CIP organization to drive Windows Server infrastructure across multi-technology environments.

You will lead automation efforts, implement AI-assisted development practices, and ensure security and regulatory compliance while aligning with business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize platform services, scale automation, and guide complex programs across cloud

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on Software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience
• Advanced knowledge of distributed systems running either Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server and the underlying hardware and hypervisors
• Extensive experience in areas of software engineering such as networking, databases, storage, deployment practices, automation or performance assessments
• Adept in specific software technology and programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET, Ansible, PowerShell, Python)
• Experience with enterprise integration and automation, test harnesses and data-driven standards
• Deep technical knowledge across multiple domains
• Experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI usage in engineering workflows
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge across public/private clouds
• Ability to translate technical results to business language and present to leadership teams

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure across environments
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring
• Create and deploy images for physical and virtual machines
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
• Apply deep technical expertise to analyze data and mitigate risk
• Work with other platforms to modernize technology processes
• Support AI-assisted software development practices and governance
• Use SDLC tools to improve automation value at scale
• Drive multiple complex programs and initiatives
