Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer in the Windows Server Engineering area within the Corporate Sector Compute Infrastructure Platform (CIP). Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on Software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
• Advanced knowledge of distributed systems running either Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server and the underlying hardware and hypervisors.
• Extensive experience in areas of software engineering such as networking, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
• Adept in specific software technology and programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Experience leading enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and setting team expectations for validating AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy automated pipeline for Windows Server infrastructure across physical, virtual and container environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for server provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Develop automation for creating and deploying images for Physical and virtual machines.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Apply deep technical expertise to analyze data and mitigate risk.
• Work with other platforms to modernize technology processes.
• Drive adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices across teams.
• Apply knowledge of SDLC toolchain to improve automation value at scale.
• Drive results and implement multiple complex programs.
