Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Senior Lead Survey Technician to join our Renewables team. This role offers ownership of assigned survey projects, applying technical expertise to complex property research and delivering accurate deliverables.

You will work with Project Managers and licensed surveyors, lead tasks from initial research to final products, and mentor junior technicians while upholding rigorous quality control and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and reviewing title commitments.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and boundary survey knowledge.
• Ability to interpret deeds, plats, and recorded easements and reflect them on deliverables.

Responsabilités

• Lead the technical execution of assigned survey projects, meeting schedules and quality expectations.
• Prepare and review ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and related drawings.
• Review title commitments and related documents for survey-related exceptions and easements.
• Research deeds, plats, recorded easements, and other property records; depict items on deliverables.
• Assist licensed surveyors with boundary analysis and resolution.
• Coordinate with field and office staff to communicate project requirements and resolve questions.
• Keep Project Managers informed of progress and potential issues.
• Perform quality control reviews for accuracy and consistency.
• Provide mentorship to survey technicians as needed.
