Qualifications

• Significant survey experience with complex assignments and deliverables.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
• Experience preparing ALTA/NSPS surveys and reviewing title commitments.
• Strong knowledge of boundary survey principles, deeds, easements, and rights-of-way.
• Ability to interpret field data and recorded documents and resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of assigned survey projects, meeting schedules and quality expectations.
• Prepare and review ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and boundary surveys with corresponding drawings.
• Review title commitments and documents for survey-related exceptions and easements.
• Research deeds, plats, and recorded easements; depict items accurately on deliverables.
• Assist licensed surveyors with boundary analysis and resolution of discrepancies.
• Review legal descriptions and related survey documents for inconsistencies or missing info.
• Coordinate with field and office staff to communicate project requirements and questions.
• Keep Project Managers informed of progress, items due, and changes affecting delivery.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to survey technicians.
