Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer within the Corporate & Investment Bank Securitized Product Group Technology team to own critical components of trade pre-trade, trade capture, pricing and real-time risk and PnL streams.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive modernization using AI-assisted tooling, and deliver scalable, robust solutions with a focus on security and reliability across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience in Java, Spring and related stacks.
• Experience with messaging hubs such as Kafka, IBM MQ, Tibco or AMPS.
• Strong background in Fixed Income trading or related domains.
• Ability to influence across matrixed organizations and deliver value at scale.
• Experience with complex project design, testing, and operational stability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 100% hands-on software across pre-trade, trade capture and pricing domains.
• Design trading tools and streamline tech stack for FICC assets.
• Analyze legacy systems and propose modernized solutions.
• Create metrics/KPIs and report progress to senior leadership.
• Lead pilots and govern AI-assisted engineering practices across teams.
