Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to advance end-to-end Java-based solutions within the Consumer & Community Banking group. You will design, implement and mentor on scalable microservices, leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, and modern CI/CD tooling in an Agile environment.

The role requires 5+ years of full-stack Java development, strong communication, and a passion for innovative banking technology across digital platforms.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Mandatory hands-on experience on core Java, Spring and REST services.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and service mesh.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control (Bitbucket, Git).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and TDD/BDD.

Responsibilities

• Play key roles in software development - design, develop, mentor, technical leader.
• Collaborate on cross-functional teams to execute the product roadmap.
• Communicate progress and technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Lead in monolith to microservices journey for high-traffic platforms.
• Ensure architecture patterns for scalability, availability, performance, and DR.
• Contribute expertise across systems architecture and tooling.
