Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience with architecture, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Proven ability to lead API, microservices, and cloud-native development.
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP, databases, and AI-assisted development practices.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide multiple agile teams and contribute to risk technology initiatives.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review peers' work.
• Shape product design, functionality, and operations decisions across the program.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert across focus areas and promote SDLC best practices.
• Advocate for AI-assisted development practices to improve quality and delivery speed.
• Build low-latency, high-throughput APIs and event-driven systems for high transaction volumes.
• Profile and optimize existing code, including work by teammates.
