Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience and formal training.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript; able to build CLI tooling, API integrations, and data pipelines.
• Experience leading effective use of AI-assisted development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to business and engineering teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering practices for code quality, delivery speed, and operations with measurable standards.
• Utilize SDLC tools and AI-enabled automation to improve value and efficiency.
• Influence product design decisions and overall technical operations and processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across focus areas and contribute to the engineering community.
• Engineer and build production systems, shipping multi-agent AI systems used by thousands of engineers.
• Work on an applied AI platform automating key stages of the software delivery pipeline from PRD to deployment.
• Own agent capabilities end-to-end, focusing on reliability, observability, and cost per session.
• Mentor and lead engineers at varying levels.
