Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of practical experience.
Experience designing and delivering software using AWS services, especially databases.
Strong cloud security, governance, and IAM knowledge.
Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operations.
Proficiency in scripting languages and infrastructure as code practices.
Expertise in Python and Terraform is required.
Experience delivering and supporting large-scale AWS production workloads.
Understanding of compute, container, and serverless AWS architectures.
Automation and continuous delivery proficiency.
Experience guiding teams in AI-assisted software development and setting expectations for AI outputs.
Strong understanding of responsible AI usage in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

Provides technical guidance to the business teams, contractors, and vendors.
Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews peers' work.
Influences product design, app functionality, and operations decisions.
Leads AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and release readiness.
