Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks a Lead Architect to drive high-quality architecture across software applications on modern cloud platforms. You will be a core technical contributor, shaping target state and strategy while aligning with business goals in Consumer & Community Banking.

You will establish AI-enabled engineering patterns, ensure security and resiliency, review code, and foster automation across the SDLC. The role requires strong cloud and AI experience within financial services.

Qualifications

• Formal training and 5+ years in architecture roles.
• Experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operations.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, security, and resiliency practices.
• Experience with AI capabilities in software engineering workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and data sensitivity considerations.

Responsibilities

• Engage teams and stakeholders to define technical approaches.
• Define target state and drive architectural strategy.
• Leverage AI capabilities with governance and data security controls.
• Evaluate new technologies and external/vendor inputs for fit.
• Develop secure production code and review others' work.
• Improve stability by automating remediation of recurring issues.
• Establish reusable AI-enabled engineering patterns across SDLC.
