Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Architect to drive high-quality architectural solutions across multiple domains in our CO GT organization.

You will lead end-to-end design, contribute to governance, and influence vendor and internal teams in shaping the target state architecture for critical financial software applications on modern cloud platforms. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in architecture roles
• Hands-on with end-to-end design, development, testing, and operations
• Strong programming capability and language proficiency
• Broad understanding of architecture disciplines and SDLC
• Experience with automation, CD/CI, and agile practices
• Knowledge of application resiliency and security practices
• Expertise in at least one domain (cloud-native, AI/ML, mobile) with practical cloud-native experience
• Ability to solve complex design problems with minimal oversight
• In-depth knowledge of financial services IT landscape and diverse, inclusive team culture

Responsibilities

• Engages technical teams and stakeholders to align on needs and propose approaches
• Defines the technical target state for the product and drives strategy
• Participates in architecture governance and drives alignment/reviews
• Evaluates emerging technologies and influences adoption
• Designs and troubleshoots creative software solutions for complex problems
• Develops secure, production-grade code and performs code reviews
• Implements automation to reduce remediation effort and improve stability
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess designs
• Shapes product design, application functionality, and operational processes
• Defines AI architecture guidelines and collaborates on model governance with Data Science/MLOps
