Job summary

JPMorganChase's Consumer & Community Banking - Digital Technology team seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer to push innovative, secure, and scalable fintech solutions. You will craft complex frameworks, deliver high-quality production code, and lead agentic AI-enabled engineering practices across teams with strict governance and auditability.

You’ll influence senior stakeholders, shape target architectures, and partner with product and engineering to drive roadmaps toward next-generation

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Expert in one or more programming languages.
• Experience leading agentic AI-enabled development with governance and security standards.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use and governance in engineering.
• Experience solving complex technology problems across disciplines.
• Understanding of the business context and practical cloud-native experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate design patterns.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews peers' work.
• Architects and governs AI-enabled engineering workflows with guardrails for security and reuse.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value.
• Advises cross-functional teams on technological matters within domain.
• Acts as go-to subject matter expert and supports roadmap definitions.
• Contributes to durable, reusable software frameworks used across teams.
• Influences leaders across business, product, and technology groups.
• Help define enterprise AI-enabled architecture for customer experiences.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to define roadmaps and architectures.
