Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer to join the Consumer & Community Banking - Digital Technology team in Plano, TX. You will drive the design, development, and delivery of trusted, scalable technology products while shaping engineering practices and mentoring others.

You will architect AI-enabled workflows, influence senior stakeholders, and partner with product and engineering to align roadmaps with the target state in a secure, production-ready environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Expert in one or more programming language(s).
• Experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices with standards for validation and auditability.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use and governance; ability to influence safe scaling patterns.
• Experience applying expertise to solve complex technology problems in one or more technical disciplines.
• Understanding of the business and practical cloud native experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks.
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Architects and governs agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows with guardrails for validation, security, resiliency and reuse.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools, including enterprise AI-assisted development, to improve automation value.
• Advises cross-functional teams on technological matters within your domain of expertise.
• Serves as the function's go-to subject matter expert.
• Contributes to development of technical methods in specialized fields aligned with modern product development.
• Creates durable, reusable software frameworks leveraged across teams.
• Influences leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams.
• Help define enterprise-scale, AI-enabled architecture for CX solutions in Consumer & Community Banking.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to define roadmaps and architectures toward target state.
