Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of experience in power systems, energy storage, or power electronics.
  • Experience with SCADA systems and communication protocols (Modbus, DNP).
  • Strong technical aptitude in electrical engineering and industrial software; ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical execution of BESS and renewable energy projects.
  • Review and approve design deliverables and project documentation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Your Background

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of experience in power systems, energy storage, or power electronics; or Master’s degree in engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience. Experience with SCADA systems and communication protocols (Modbus, DNP). Strong technical aptitude in electrical engineering and industrial software. Familiarity with renewable and thermal generation technologies. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
